Prometheus Kappa Quick Release
This isn't so much of a review as it is a heads up. Prometheus Lights, long time friend of the blog, has a Kickstarter going for his Kappa QRs. These little devices are a clever take on the quick releases we all are familiar with from pneumatic tools. But instead of a ball bearing, the Kappa QRs use a canted spring.
The result is a device that works flawlessly, has no moving parts, and is much smaller than the typical quick release.

All are incredibly cool, useful if you need to attach things to a pack, bag or keys, and made here in the US by a cool dude and one of the more intriguing companies serving the EDC community. If you have a few bucks to throw around or just want a way to connect your bulky car key fobs to your house keys (which is how I the polycarb QR), go visit the KS.
